This old garage door opener served its purpose for probably about 30+ years which means it had none of the modern safety features today's systems include! The new door opener was installed on proper brackets and is now equipped with safety reversal sensors to prevent accidents!
When you get called out to fix some issues before a closing, you get it done!
Buyers were looking to close within 48 hours. We worked closely with the home inspector and realtor to understand what was flagged as not being up to code. We were able to complete the required updates within the timeframe so the deal was able to close on time!

We received a call about a mailbox that had rotted and fallen over. We worked with the homeowner to get out there the next day and make sure the new mailbox was secured and ready for the postman!
Basement Flooding Woes
With all the rain we've gotten recently here in Wolcott, it's not surprising this old sump pump finally failed! We got out as soon as possible and replaced it with something a little more updated to keep this basement from flooding again with all the rain expected in the coming days.

The fun part of carpentry is coming up with ideas for a customer! This job was to get their kayaks up off the ground but not make it look tacky with one of those pre-built metal frames, so we kept the rustic and beach feel going!
